Cervical Traction

Cervical traction is one of the most common techniques for treating neck and arm pain. Mechanical traction is effective in relieving clinical symptoms and can provide a reduction in muscle tension. Mechanical traction can provide relief of pain, muscle spasm, improve range of motion, and help restore function. At OSPT we utilize the Saunders Mechanical Cervical traction. This device pulls at base of the occiput for more effective cervical traction. It adapts easily to all patient requirements and performs horizontal traction with graduated resistance.
