Pre and Post Surgical Rehabilitation

CACC offers a rehabilitation program for patients who are anticipating surgery by offering care before and after surgery. Before surgery a patient can expect to be educated by a therapist about all aspects of the upcoming surgery including exercises (both pre- and post-op), how to reduce pain and swelling, and realistic goals of physical therapy. Therapists maintain close communication with the referring physician in order to fully understand what surgery the patient is undergoing and to prepare an individual treatment plan.
